These terms explain how RideMuse works, what you can expect from the app, and what we expect from you.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using RideMuse, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of the Service
RideMuse is a cycling companion app that may provide:
- ride start, pause, resume, and end controls
- Apple Watch and iPhone syncing
- GPS route tracking, speed, distance, altitude, and workout metrics
- Apple Health integration
- Apple Sign In
- AI-assisted ride commentary, audio playback, and local audio storage
- subscription, credit, or other paid access features
We may update, change, or discontinue features from time to time.
3. Account and Eligibility
Some features require Apple Sign In and related authorization. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for keeping your device and account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
4. Safety and Use
RideMuse is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycling involves risk. You are responsible for your own safety, awareness, and compliance with traffic laws and local rules.
5. Permissions
The app may request access to location, HealthKit, Apple Music context, notifications, and Apple Watch connectivity. Some features may not work without these permissions.
6. Paid Features
Some features may require a subscription, credit balance, or other paid entitlement. Payments may be processed by Apple or a third-party service provider. Unless required by law, digital items, consumed credits, and used entitlements are non-refundable.
7. AI Features
RideMuse may generate commentary and related content based on your ride data and settings. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for every situation. You understand that AI-generated content is provided for convenience and entertainment only.
8. Prohibited Conduct
- misuse the app for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the app
- bypass payment, access, or security controls
- upload malicious code
- collect or share another person’s data without permission
9. Third-Party Services
RideMuse may rely on Apple services, AI services, payment services, and other third-party providers. Their availability and terms are governed by their own policies.
10. Intellectual Property
RideMuse, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Hangzhou HeiChe Technology Co., Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we decide to stop providing the service.
12. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideMuse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
