RideMuse is a cycling companion app. We collect and use only the data needed to provide ride tracking, AI-assisted commentary, account features, and related functionality.

- Apple Sign In information, such as your Apple user identifier and authentication data
- account and subscription information
- app settings, such as voice, timing, topic preferences, and similar configuration
- location and route data
- speed, distance, altitude, duration, and pause-related data
- Apple Watch workout metrics such as heart rate and active energy
- Apple Health data you authorize us to read or write
- ride history, AI event history, and raw ride metric samples stored in the app
- ride context sent to our service for AI-assisted commentary
- generated commentary text and related audio
- locally saved audio files created during or after a ride
- limited music context if you choose to enable it
- device and app usage information, logs, diagnostics, and connection status
3. How We Use Information
- Provide ride tracking and history
- Sync data between iPhone and Apple Watch
- Generate and play ride commentary
- Write completed rides to Apple Health
- Manage sign-in, subscriptions, and credit balances
- Improve stability, security, and product quality
- Respond to support requests
5. Health Data
RideMuse requests access to HealthKit only for fitness-related purposes. You control HealthKit permissions through Apple's system settings. If you deny access, some features may not work.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- Most ride history and media files may be stored locally on your device
- Apple Health data is stored in Apple’s Health ecosystem and controlled by your Apple permissions
- Some ride data and logs may be processed by our backend or service providers to provide the app’s features
- We retain data only as long as needed for the service, legal compliance, and legitimate business purposes
7. Your Choices
You can:
- disable location, HealthKit, Apple Music, or notification permissions in system settings
- sign out of your account
- delete local ride history where the app supports it
- contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data where applicable
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
RideMuse is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries or regions other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
